Olympia Antoniadis preserves flowers in her late sisters sewing studio after receiving them as sympathy gifts. Pink; a colour of hope, warmth and comfort radiates the room, the walls changing in luminosity at different parts of the day. The cascading material softens the absence of the human form, creating a surreal and intimate space. Antoniadis finds solace in the the act of preserving and in the detail of her painting. Whilst acknowledging the inevitability of loss, she searches for the beauty within her grief.
